Well Father Time just won't let up and 32 has caught up with me already! I have to say I had a great birthday this year and I am determined to make 32 my best year yet!

As usual I was spoilt with great company, lots of treats and some fantastic gifts. I must have been a very good girl last year ;) We celebrated no less than three times! The festivities started on Saturday 22nd with a gathering of friends at our home, for an evening of fun and games (literally). We feasted on Tapas and nibbles, washed down with lots of Sangria, then embarrassed ourselves playing Cranium till the early hours. Anyone who wishes to hear the gory details should send cheques or money orders to me and I will happily oblige!

Should you trust your hairdresser?

I think my hairdresser has aspirations to work as a stylist for Cirque Du Soleil. I only wish I had figured this out yesterday before I let him loose on my hair!

I really liked the blonde I have had for the last year, but at heart I am a red-head so I decided to head back down that route (no pun intended). I have been messing with my hair colour for so long now, I have pretty much tried everything at some point mostly with good results but some not so good, like the time I did it myself and it came out pillar box red - no joke!

So Jimmy and I discussed some ideas and all of which sounded good and since he is the "artiste" I let him decide on the final colours. "Strawberry blonde!" he said, "We'll do a nice rich coppery colour all over and then add in some blonde highlights to brighten and some deeper lowlights for some richness." Now doesn't that sound like it would be really nice and suit me very well? Naturally I agreed and off he toddled to mix those wonderful chemicals while I settled in for the long haul and turned to Vanity Fair and Brad Pitt.

It's Official - Vic is Nuts!

I must have some kind of OCD because I was up till 4am last night working on this blog. I just couldn't walk away from it till the configuration was completed. I know I'm nuts, but if I hadn't finished I would have tossed and turned all night dreaming about the unfinished job, so it was the lesser of two evils. Nuts, I tell you!!

New Look New Name

Why the new name "Of Bears and Bull" ?

Now there's a good question! It's just one of those things that popped into my head and seemed to stick. As most of you will know we are a bit loony when it comes to our bears and we live near the New York Stock Exchange where life revolves around "Bear Markets" and "Bull Markets" which refer to the ups and downs of the stock market. So this is my play on that with ups and downs of life. Very profound, I know! *sarcastic grin*. Oh, and of course I do talk a lot of bull sometimes!
