“Of Bears, Bull and Beagles!”

Happy New Year!

2007 has been a wild year to say the least. It has been the absolute best, yet emotionally and physically hardest year of our lives. It has flown by in a haze of sleeplessness and constant exhaustion, coupled with immense pride and unrivaled happiness, all fueled by a steady flow of espresso!

Once again we have really neglected this website with a severe lack of updates and even more criminal is the lack of photos! I wish I had found the time to write during this first year of the boys lives. We have had so many tales to tell and of course dozens (thousands actually) of photos to share. Alas, it was not to be. The boys have naturally been extremely demanding of my time, leaving me little or no free time. However, I am relieved to say that our lives are gradually regaining some semblance of normality and the current status quo is yielding more and more time. So my new year's resolution is to remedy this neglect and hopefully the boys will afford me the time to do so.

I have great plans, of course they are all subject to that ever elusive contingent.... time, but if I put them in writing then maybe, just maybe, they will come to fruition. Starting with a face lift to this site. We need a new name as the old one is hardly relevant anymore, and with the new name a new look. I also desperately want to spend some time working on my cooking blog, which has also been woefully neglected. I hope to find the time to develop it into the vision I had when I created it at least by the end of the year. I think however I should start small, so my first action is to write an update about each of the boys.... there is much to tell.
