.... again!
It's almost a year since my last entry entitled "We are expecting" and now 11 months later yet another 4 legs are about to join our rapidly growing family. This time, however, it is not a puppy joining us, this time we are expecting twins! Yes that's right, I am pregnant and in about 7 months (god willing) we will be blessed with two beautiful babies.
Today I am exactly 7 weeks along and the twins are scheduled to make an appearance on March 29th but as we all know these things rarely happen on time and twins have a habit of arriving early. So far everything is going well, we have had 2 ultrasounds already, and on the second one we actually got to see their teeny little hearts beating, which was so amazing. Our next scan is on Monday and we can't wait to see how much they have grown in the last week.
So far I am feeling OK. I have had some "Morning, Noon and Night Sickness" but I am getting a handle on how to make it a bit easier to cope with. My main complaint (and it's not a complaint at all) is that I am so very tired all the time, I just can't seem to get enough sleep, but I guess my body is busy doing miraculous things, so it's understandable.
Needless to say our parents are thrilled, especially my Mum & Dad since this will be their first Grand-Children and they have been waiting very patiently for a long time for us to finally supply them. I will never forget the first time Dad mentioned Grand-kids to Mark and I. It was about 12 years ago, Mark and I had not long been together and had only just moved into our house. We had gone to the house in France for a long weekend with Mum and Dad and were in "Bernard's" having a meal. Out of the blue Dad turned around and said "So, when are you going to give me a grand-child?". I nearly choked on my food, Mark went white as a ghost and Mum promptly gave Dad a swift elbow in the ribs whilst reprimanding him with a stern "Randal! You can't say that!" Well it's taken us some time, but hopefully we are making up for it a bit by giving Dad two Grand-children at once! I swear, when I told Dad the news, I could hear him doing "the jig" down the phone!
Needless to say we too are extremely happy and feeling very blessed. We just pray that the rest of the pregnancy goes well and our two little miracles are born healthy and happy.

Brilliant news. So glad we have caught up at last.
Congrats to you both.
The puppy looks gorgeous.
Are you still living at the same address?
Love and best wishes from Jenny and Dave.
PS next March is our 40th Wedding Anniversary, never thought we'd make it!!
